Author Guidelines

Thank you for considering Techno Bahari Journal as a venue for publishing your research. Authors are requested to read and follow the guidelines below before submitting their manuscripts to ensure a smooth review and publication process.

1. Aims and Scope

Techno Bahari Journal welcomes original research and review articles in the following areas:

  • Smart Sensors, Embedded Systems, and Automation Technology
  • Power Electronics and Renewable Energy
  • Marine Development Technology and Marine Environmental Safety
  • Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Processes, and Engineering Materials

2. Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Research Articles
  • Review Articles

Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal.

3. Language

Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the language used is clear, accurate, and suitable for scholarly publication.

4. Manuscript Preparation

Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the official Techno Bahari Journal template. The manuscript should be organized in the following order:

  • Title
  • Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Research Method
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgments (optional)
  • References

5. References

  • References must follow the IEEE Citation Style.
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • The majority of references should be taken from recent and relevant scholarly publications.

6. Publication Ethics

Authors must comply with the journal's Publication Ethics policy. Submitted manuscripts must be free from:

  • Plagiarism
  • Data fabrication
  • Data falsification
  • Duplicate publication
  • Citation manipulation

All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.

7. Peer Review Process

Every manuscript that passes the initial editorial screening will undergo a double-blind peer-review process, in which both authors' and reviewers' identities remain anonymous to ensure an objective and impartial evaluation.

The final publication decision is made by the Editor based on the reviewers' recommendations.

8. Copyright and License

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

9. Publication Fees

Techno Bahari Journal does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, processing, or publication.

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): Free
  • Publication Fee: Free

10. Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) of Techno Bahari Journal. Authors are required to register for an account before submitting their manuscripts.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the journal's policies, including its publication ethics, copyright, licensing, and peer-review process.
